n,v, pain, FOLATE DEFICIENCY (megaloblastic anemia) (teratogenicity- neonatal methemoglobinemia, hemolysis)
AIDS patient with jiroveci being treated by cotrimoxazole
fever, rash, bone marrow hypoplasia
Diuretics + cotrimoxazole
thrombocytopenia
nalidixic acid
gi upset, rashes, neurological (headache, drowsiness, vertigo, visual disturbances, seizures)
g6pd deficiency hemolysis

qt prolongation, photosensitivity

prolong qt qnd sometimes phototoxicity can occur
gemifloxacin
serum amino transferases, skin rash, warfarin effect enhance, qt prolongation
prulifloxacin
git, cns, photosensitivity, utricaria

git discomfort diarrheas hearing impairment hypersensitivity - rashes estolate hypersensitivity - hepatitis with cholestatic jaundice (esp pregnancy)
erythromycin
inhibitor of cyp3a4 - terfenadine, astemizole, cispride toxicity - qt prolongation - arrhythmia and death
clarithromycin
same as erythromycin
also pseudomembranous colitis
