Track the behavior of children adopted away from their biological parents at a young age and then look at similarities between the child and their biological parents and their adoptive parents.

If the adoptive child is more like their biological parents then they could attribute the behavior to nature and if they are more similar to their adoptive parents you could blame it on nurture
