What is the significance of perceived ability for people with high ego orientation?
If someone has high perceived ability, more likely to have high persistence and will seek challenge due to confidence. If someone has low PA, will avoid challenge and will lack persistence. Perceived ability is fragile as it is dependent on others, and you can’t always win

Both high and low perceived ability results in persistence and seeking challenge
In the training context, what orientation is more significant?
Task orientation, as it provides an opportunity for athletes to practice and develop skills
In the competition context, what orientation is more significant?
Could enhance ego orientation, as objective success is evaluated with normative criteria and there is a stronger public evaluation
