Indications for ASA?
A
Suspected acute coronary syndrome

Dose for ASA?
A
160mg chewed PO if not previously administered for this episode to a total maximum of 160mg per 24hr period. Do not repeat dose.
Administer even if the patient states they took their prescribed daily dose, only withhold administration if it can be confirmed they took it through dispatch instructions or by a first responder prior to your arrival

Contraindications to ASA?
A
- Hypersensitivity
- Active GI Bleed
- Asthmatic with past history of sensitivity to ASA/NSAIDS
