Q

How did Mendel set up his experiments?

A

He always started with two homozygous plants, one with recessive and one with dominant alleles, he always saw the ratio of 4/4 heterozygous in the resulting plants, and after he bred the second generation he always saw a ratio of 3/4 one phenotype and 1/4 recessive homozygous
