Q

What is the difference between an oncogene and a proto-oncogene

A

Q

What happens when there is cyclin vs. when there’s no cyclin?

A

When cyclin binds to cdk the s phase begins, but when not the s factors turn off.

9
Q

Compare and contrast cyclin and kinase.

A

cyclin has multiple type, triggered by growth factors, concentrations peak at certain points, and activates cdk. kinase has a constant concentration, only works when cyclin is attached, and adds phosphate groups
