How do you calculate the Take Off Distance Required reduction possible due to a flex temp take off?
(Tflex - Toat)/10 * 3
Essentially, 10% of the difference between flex temperature and outside air temperature multiplied by 3.
So flex temp of 55degC, OAT of 15degC, TODR of 2000m…
(55-15)/10 * 3 = 12% so 1760m is actual TODR
Minimum oil temperature for start?
-40degC (same for NEO)
Minimum oil temperature for take off?
-10degC (or 19degC for NEO)
