why would a plant wilt if not watered

A

water enters plant via osmosis
when a plant is well watered, the plant cell becomes turgid
when a plant isnt watered, it will lose water, as watter will diffuse from cells
as water concentration is lower outside of the cells
cells will lose their turgidity and the cell will become flaccid and the plant will wilt
