Can be used with agreement of IC to communicate between firefighters carrying out specific tasks

Sub Surface LUL incidents and where a leaky feeder is used

All BA communications except where channel 5 is in use.

With regard to coms, how should a command unit be sited?
- In a position where the radio signal is strongest.
- Sited as near to the incident, as practicable.
- Where possible positioned clear of large steel structures and steel framed buildings.
- More than 10 metres away from other emergency command vehicles.
