Hitler wanted to create ‘thousand year reich’

-believed men are women are diferent, not equal. but had different strengths. to strengthen germany party. so policies for girl youth was different

-young germans support nazi party, contributes to thousand year Reich. (hitler became father figure)

A

Political activities:
-swore loaylty to fuhrer(although boys age 10 swore oath , said “willing to give up my life for him”
-went on ralies
-report anyone, who opposed nazis (inclde fam)
Physicical activities:
-camping, hiking and marching expiditions
character training:
-harsh punishment if they disobeyed nazis, to build loyalty via hardship
-trained to be useful for state of germany, (aka nazis)

A

firstly age groups
-boys [6-10] joined little fellow, then [10-14] joined Germany young people, then [14-18] join hitler youth
-girls [10-14] joined young maids, then age [14-21] league of german maids
physical activities
- girls not do military training, instead learnt housework
-hitler youth did map-reading, signalling and training small arms shooting (1938, militrary training included naval and motor)
political training/Character training
-women taught to be housewife’s(cook and iron)
-taught about racial hygene
