What a “rabies tag” is
Tag w tag number and identify the veterinary clinic or agency that administers the raises vaccination
Are rabies tags valid proof of vaccination
Why or why not
No. They do not have identifying info about the animal, therefore one tag could be transferred from one animal to another
Only valid proof of rabies vaccination:
Current, valid rabies certificate signed by a veterinarian.
This is obtained by calling clinic identified on rabies tag
Tattoos are usually used to show that
The animals have been altered (sprayed or neutered)
