Q

What is the difference between molecules and compounds?

A

Molecules - contain more than one atom and can be either elements (O2
, N2) or compounds which comprise of more than one molecule (C6H12O6)

Compounds - contain either ionic bonds between elements (NaCl) or covalent bonds (C6H12O6). Ionic compounds are NOT molecules
