High Birth and deaths. Slow population growth
Stage 2 of Demographic Transition
Death rates fall while births remain high. Rapid population growth
Stage 3 of Demographic Transition
Births fall while deaths stay low.
Growth slows down.
Stage 4 of Demographic Transition
Births and deaths are both low. Growth is falling then stable.
Stage 5 of Demographic Transition
Births are yet to be seen and deaths are low. There is little change in growth.

How can age structure graphs help determine future growth.
When looking at these graphs you look at the younger population and the reproductive age group. The higher the younger group is the higher it is to estimate a higher population growth.
