Q

How does the amount of deaths and births affect the population growth?

A

When the births are higher than the deaths there is a positive population growth. At a certain rate when both deaths and births are equal they experience no growth. And when deaths are higher there is a negative population growth.

Q

How does the amount of immigration and emigration affect the population growth?

A

When the amount of immigration rates are higher the population become more dense and experience positive growth.
When there is equal immigration and emigration the population is at the carrying capacity. Emigration causes negative population growth.

Q

Density Dependent

A

This will only have a major impact on growth as the population get more and more dense. usually biotic factors.

Q

Density Independent

A

This can have a major impact on growth no matter what the density is. Usually abiotic.
Ex. Drought
