A

How might a cervical ectropion present?

A

many are asymptomatic and incidental finding on speculum.

present:

  • increased vaginal discharge
  • vaginal bleeding
  • dyspareunia
  • postcoital bleeding

Management of cervical ectropion?

A

asymptomatic - require no treatment

problematic bleeding?
- cauterisation using silver nitrate or cold coagulation during colposcopy

(not associated with cancer at all)
