A
- 1506: Lord Burgavenny was fined $5 per retainer coming to $70,000 which was so much he didn’t have to pay it on the promise of good behaviour
- the Earl of Oxford was a close friend of Henry’s so thought the law wouldn’t apply to him, when Henry visited his house he purposefully showed them off… Henry fined him 15000 marks

- on the Earl of Surrey, Thomas Howard who was a supported of Richard III
- he was given an attainder when released from the tower on charge of keeping peace in the north
- his lands were never fully restored to him

- the Earl of Northumberland was only given his lands at 20 when Henry was convinced of his loyalty
- he had an extensive spy network
- he kept the Earl of Warwick in the tower from 10-19 then had him executed

- after the Lord Stanley incident he shut himself away
