Q

Define and Encode Momentum

A

Momentum is really just a measure of how hard it is going to be to stop a moving object, and back in the ancient days, apparently, momentum is spelled with p; hence, p(momentum) = mv. The unit of momentum is kgm/s

Define and Encode Impulse

A

Impulse can either be a force applied for a period of time or it can be also be a change in momentum.

Q

Differentiate the conservation of momentum and kinetic energy in all collisions (elastic collisions and inelastic collisions).

A

Momentums is conserved in all collisions, while kinetic energy is conserved in elastic collision but not conserved in inelastic collisions.
