Q

Define and Encode Conservation of Energy.

A

A law that states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed. In other words, numerically, Total Mechanical Energy will remain constant. TMEi = TMEf which means “iGPE + KE + EPE = fGPE + KE + EPE” and also was proven wrong by the Work-energy theorem because it’s states that the TME cannot be the same if work is done and should be look like this: TMEi + Wa = TMEf + Wl

Q

Define and Encode The work-energy Theorem.

A

The theory that work can change kinetic energy because is equal to kinetic energy which proves the equation of the conservation of energy wrong. This means that instead of TMEi = TMEf, it shall be TMEi + Wa = TMEf + Wl.

Q

Define and Encode Energy efficiency.

A

Energy efficiency measures the proportion of energy which is wasted; therefore, efficiency shall be high if we want to produce less friction and waste less energy.
