Touch Pen
Also known as a touch screen stylus or capacitive stylus. Allows manipulation of the screen without using your fingers.
Active Stylus
Provides more precise input than a capacitive stylus. Can recognize pressure levels and include buttons for additional functions. Often device-specific.
External Drawing Pad
Combines an active stylus with a digitizer to add touchscreen capability to non-touchscreen computers. Works across different systems.
Trackpad on Laptop
Built-in input device on laptops used to control the cursor and perform various functions. Can be disabled through function keys to prevent accidental inputs.
External Trackpad
Bluetooth device that replicates laptop trackpad functionality for desktops, with additional customization options.
Headset Connections
Can be wired via USB or 3.5mm TRRS jack, or wireless via Bluetooth. TRRS stands for Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve, which separates audio input and output signals.
External Speakers
Battery-powered speakers connected via Bluetooth for better sound quality than internal device speakers.
Webcam
Built-in camera on laptops, tablets, and phones used for multimedia and video communication.
Docking Station
Stationary device that connects peripherals like printers and monitors to a laptop, simplifying moving the laptop between locations.
Port Replicator
Similar to a docking station but connects via USB. Provides additional ports and speeds up the connection process but does not support adapter cards.
