Types of Wired Connectivity
USB (Universal Serial Bus), Lightning, DB-9 (RS232)
USB Type-A
Commonly found on computers.
USB Mini-B
Older standard used for some devices.
USB Micro-B
Common in many mobile devices.
USB-C
Newer standard for both power and data transfer. Supports various signals like DisplayPort, HDMI, and Thunderbolt.
Lightning
Apple’s proprietary connector used in iPhones and iPads. Supports high power output for faster charging and is reversible.
DB-9 (RS232)
Older standard for serial communication. Still used for some legacy devices like switches and routers.
NFC (Near Field Communication)
Short-range communication used for mobile payments, data transfer, and access control.
