If you receive an Incorrect Train Authority what happens?

A

Write Cancelled Time, Date, Signature. (You are already on the phone to the TC because you’re verifying) Make a new fresh TA. Keep the cancelled TA to hand in if you’re at an unattended location.

When is a “good”train used to protect a location? How far is the protecting train? Who controls this procedure?

A

This is done when a relief train is returning to a station via wrong line outside the Metrol Controlled Area. The “good” train must be location a minimum of 100 meters of where the relief train performing the wrong line movement will go. This procedure will be lead by the Senior Network Controller. (Cancel your TA by calling the SNC if at unattended location)

A

No train Authority is needed in this case.

Train driver will follow signal aspects up signal protecting the track section with the disabled train. To pass this the driver needs verbal permission from TC (I think)

A

Driver must stop a minimum of 100 meters before the outer most set of points and obtain permission from the signaller, verbal.

You travel under signal aspects and you may use signal aspects to enter the station.
