  • Thrust lever for either engine is near idle and the MEC on either engine is not commanded to maintain high idle RPM in flight.
  • The speed of either engine is below 25% N1 in flight.

What’s the difference between GPWS and EGPWS?

A

GPWS provides alerts based on radio altitude and combinations of baro altitude, airspeed, glideslope deviation, airplane config.
EGPWS uses these as well as an internal terrain database.
