Year 3 general Flashcards
1
Q
A/T LIM (white)
A
A/T Computer is calculating a single fixed N1 thrust limit for affected engine/s when FMC calculations become invalid or if either engine N1 is less than 18%.
2
Q
- (on thrust mode display)
A
FMC not computing thrust limit.
3
Q
REVERSER (amber)
A
One or more:
- Isolation valve or thrust reverser control valve not in commanded position
- Thrust reverser sleeve position sensors are in disagreement.
- Auto restow circuit has been activated.
4
Q
LOW IDLE (amber)
A
- Thrust lever for either engine is near idle and the MEC on either engine is not commanded to maintain high idle RPM in flight.
- The speed of either engine is below 25% N1 in flight.
5
Q
What’s the difference between GPWS and EGPWS?
A
GPWS provides alerts based on radio altitude and combinations of baro altitude, airspeed, glideslope deviation, airplane config.
EGPWS uses these as well as an internal terrain database.
6
Q
In terms of predictive windshear, what does MONITOR RADAR DISPLAY tell you?
A
- Windshear within 3 miles and ahead of aircraft.
enabled during take off and approach below 1200’ RA
