A
Go through Belgium to France then wrap around and attack Russia.

Russia mobilised its troops and Germany began the Schlieffen plan, but what went wrong?
A
Germany encountered more resistance than they thought in Belgium, this stopped the Schlieffen Plan for long enough so that France could set up defences and Germany’s Schlieffen Plan required Belgium to put up no resistance as it was on a tight schedule.
And Russia mobilised their troops way quicker than Schlieffen had expected.
