When did Britain make HMS Dreadnaught?

What did Germany do in retaliation to the HMS Dreadnaught?
Created their own, called the SMS Rheinland.
How many Dreadnaughts did Britain have, compared to Germany by 1914?
28 compared to 17.
What had Germany done to convince Britain that the Germans needed to be considered a threat?
They had passed the German Navy Laws, this meant that Germany could begin threatening Britain’s Navy, and as Britain relied on its Navy it was considered a threat.
