People started realising that they were being deported to go and die so they started to form a resistance group called ‘Jewish Fighting Organisation’ which smuggled firearms and homemade weapons.

A member of an armed group formed to fight secretly against an occupying force
What did the Nazi’s do in retaliation of the Warsaw Uprising?
Used flamethrowers to kill everybody barricaded inside houses. 7,000 killed including Mordechai Anielewicz, the rest were deported to concentration camps.

Inspired other groups to retaliate against the Nazi’s
What did the Sonderkommando do in retaliation against the Nazi’s?
They fought back and one time killed 3 guards and blew up a crematorium, several hundred escaped. Another time they killed 11 Nazi’s and 50 escaped.
