What are Ghettos?
Walled-off areas of cities, which Jews were made to live in terrible conditions. Many died of disease and starvation.

What does SS stand for, and what did they do?
Schutzstaffel (protection squad), they were elite Nazi soldiers, they were heavily involved with running concentration and extermination camps.

6 million, 2/3 of every Jew living in Europe before the war
What was the main extermination camp in Germany?
Auschwitz II. 1 million Jews were murdered there.
How was the ‘Final Solution’ going to be implemented?
Jews deployed in large labour columns, separated by gender. Able bodied will build roads. The weak will die of ‘natural’ causes.
