A
  • the narrator makes direct statements about ht character’s traits through descriptive narration
  • use when you want to make a point about a character and the plot of your story is more one of experience than of action, use direct character revelation

  • other characters reveal the character’s traits by what they say about the character, by the way they react. dialogue is part of the indirection revelation
