How do you calculate a businesses absenteeism
Total number of workers x number of working days in a year = total number of working days
Total number of absences a year divided by days that should have been worked x 100
What is the impact of high absenteeism
Indicates Dissatisfied , demotivated workforce
It also increases costs for a business and impacts on quality
Illness only accounts for half of absences what are other reasons for absence
Personal or domestic issues ,bullying in workplace, responsibility for children or elderly parents , low pay, demotivation and hangover

Measure of the rate at which employees are leaving
How do you calculate % turnover
Divide the number of staff leaving ny the number of full time employees x 100
What is labour productivity
Measure of efficiency the business turns production into input and output
Why is labour productivity such an important measure
Because of thee impact on labour costs per unit produced. Higher productivity means lower labour costs

Total output per period of time divide by average number of employees per period of time
