A

· T & T function of SP is compromised, so system is undernourished and wants to take in more food
· in other words, failure of nourishment is driving eating (not appetite driving eating)
· the body compensates by trying to eat more for nourishment; however, the SP is taxed and won’t process food, which leads to accumulation
