When does windshear need to reported to ATC?
If encountered windshear needs to be reported with height and severity.

Unacceptable flight path deviations below 1000feet in excess of - 15/500/5/1
15 knots IAS 500 fpm vertical speed 5 degrees pitch 1 dot displacement from G/S Unusual thrust lever position
What actions should be taken if severe windshear is forecast?
Do Not Takeoff!
What power setting should be used if windshear is reported or anticipated?
Full Power should be used if windshear is reported or anticipated.
What thrust setting can be used if windshear is caused by strong winds?
Reduced thrust may be used if windshear is caused by strong winds and NOT associated with CB’s or frontal activity.
When can a windshear warning be treated as advisory?
In extreme turbulence associated with strong winds a windshear warning may be treated as advisory provided it has been anticipated and briefed and appropriate allowances made.
What is the call of ‘WINDSHEAR GO AROUND’ used to indicate to the other crew member?
The call of ‘WINDSHEAR GO AROUND’ indicates to the other crew member that a positive climb rate is to be maintained at the cost of airspeed up to the point of stalling.
