Check Alt and rate
If uncontrollable —- pax Oxy Switch (red) —– ON
Descend ——- MSA / 10,000 / 15,000 (lowest safe alt)
High terrain - PASS + CREW - KEEP MASKS ON FOR xx MINS
Descent Complete PA - The descent is now complete - Will the SCCM report to the flight deck.
Dual Engine Fail
Fuel Control Switches (both) ——— CUT OFF then RUN
RAT Switch ————————– PUSH - 1 sec
Engine Limit / Surge / Stall
Autothrottle Arm Switch (affected side) —- CONFIRM —- OFF
Thrust Lever (affected side) ——— CONFIRM —— RETARD
retard within limits or idle
Engine Severe Damage / Separation
Autothrottle Arm Switch —— CONFIRM —— OFF
Thrust Lever —————– CONFIRM —— CLOSE
Fuel Control Switch ———- CONFIRM —— CUTOFF
Engine Fire Switch ———– CONFIRM —— PULL
Fire Engine
Autothrottle Arm Switch —— CONFIRM —— OFF
Thrust Lever —————– CONFIRM —— CLOSE
Fuel Control Switch ———- CONFIRM —— CUTOFF
Engine Fire Switch ———– CONFIRM —— PULL
If fire message remains displayed - rotate and hold for 1 sec
If message still displayed after 30secs - rotate opposite direction and hold for 1 sec
Stabiliser
