Phospholipase C, cleaves PIP2 into IP3 and Dag. IP# goes down to the ER and opens up ligand gated ion channel for calcium. Calcium comes out and binds to PKC that is around the ER. The PKC, now moves up to where Dag is, and gets activated by it. It then has the job of phosphorylating proteins
