What is the commutative property of addition and multiplication?
This property means that the order in which you add or multiply numbers does not matter.
What is the associative property of addition and multiplication?
This property means that the order in which you group numbers does not matter.
What is the distributive property of multiplication over addition and subtraction?
This means that if addition and subtraction take place inside a bracket where the result of said subtraction and addition is being multiplied, then each value inside the bracket can be multiplied by the number outside of the bracket.
What are the special properties of one?
Any number multiplied by one is the number. The value does not change when multiplied by one.
What are the special properties of zero?
Any number added to zero does not change.
Any number multiplied by zero is zero.
Zero divided by any number is zero
