-gradual onset
-worsen with time
-eventually functions other than language effected
-form of dementia

Jargon Aphasia?

A
  • type of fluent aphasia in which an individual’s speech is incomprehensible, but appears to make sense to the individual
    -severe form of Wernicke’s aphasia with rapid verbal output, abundant paraphasic substitutions, and incomprehensible verbalization
