Starts hours or days after onset
rapid recovery
What is the subacute stage of aphasia recovery?
6m-1yr after onset
spontanoues recovery, obervable w/o intervention

life long after onset
continued improvement possible w/ intervention

one lang recovers at cost of other
what is see-saw recovery?
one recovers at other expense but they alternate recovery
