1.6 litres per day (that’s about 8 glasses)

2.0 litres (that’s about 10 glasses)
Causes of dehydration
-excessive sweating in high temperatures
-excessive sweating during exercise
-vomiting and diarrhoea
-low fluid intake
Symptoms of dehydration
-headaches
-confusion
-tiredness/fatigue
-thirst/dry mouth
Functions of water in the body
-water transports nutrients around the body
-it helps get rid of waste products
-it helps protect and lubricate joints ,eyes and throat.
-it evaporates from the skin when we get too hot and therefor helps regulate body temperature.
