What is campylobacter ?
Campylobacter is the name of a common food poisoning bacterium that is sometimes found on raw meat and raw poultry. This bacterium causes a range of very unpleasant symptoms.

Name common symptoms for campylobacter
Vomiting,diarrhoea ,fever,stomach pains ,headache
Why should you not wash raw meat and poultry before cooking it.
Water containing bacteria could splash around the work surface and contaminate any ready to eat food prepared there.
Other than raw meat and poultry, these foods can also cause campylobacter :
Seafood and shellfish,pate,cooked rice,pasta,egg based products,dairy,fresh cream and milk based products.
Campylobacter is very dangerous for:
Babies,pregnant women,the elderly,those who have an underlying illness.
