Processed
What do people assume about processed foods
That they are unhealthy or have low nutritional value. However this isn’t always the case
Some commonly eaten processed foods include:
Salad leaves,bread,pasta sauce ,peas frozen, lasagna,baked beans
Advantages of processed foods
-they help save time when making meals as they may be partially or completely cooked
-some can be stored for long periods of time. Convenient if u can’t get to the shops
Disadvantages of processed foods
-cook-chill meals can be more expensive than making meals from fresh ingredients
-some people may not want to eat foods that contain additives
