Life threatening arrhythmias (simillar to BAB)

Digoxin. GI symptom?
A
Profund anorexia, nausea, vomitin, abdominal pain
(these not present in BAB)

Digoxin. Neuro presentation?
A
Fatigue, confusion, weakness, color vision alteration

Patient uses digoxin. Added amiodarone. What need to do?
A
Decrease digoxin dose by 25-50 proc. when initiatin amiodarone therapy and monitor closely levels of digoxin once a week for next several weeks.

Amiodarone can cause digoxin toxicity for patients that were on stable digoxin regimen.
