ADPKD. Asymtomatic till what age?
30-40 y/o
ADPKD. Initial symptom?
Early disease manifestation is HTN (it occurs when cysts become large and numerous).
ADPKD. renal symptoms? 3
Flank pain, hematuria
Palpable abdominal masses (usually bilateral)
CKD
ADPKD. why increased hemoglobin?
increased erythropoietin production (possibly from local ischemia around renal cysts).
ADPKD. Extrarenal findings?
Cerebral aneurysms
Hepatic and pancreatic cysts
Mitral valve prolapse, Ao regurgitation (cardiac valvular abnormalities)
Colonic diverticulosis
Ventral and inguinal hernias
ADPKD. Diagnosis?
Abdominal UG = multiple renal cysts and enlarged kidneys
OR
Abdominal CT
ADPKD. As cystic degeneration progresses with age –> progressive renal dysfunction –> end-stage renal disease

Epistaxis, rhinitis (intranasal use)

HTH, tachy
Dilated pupils
Psychomotor agitation
COCAINE. Emergent complications? 4
Seizures
Acute myocardial ischemia
Ao dissection
Intracranial hemorrhage
