usb type a:
the kind you plug into a computer or an outlet in the wall. rectangular, and used to be used in conjunction with other usb to charge or power small devices.
usb type b:
the kind I don’t usually see. looks like a mouth with four teeth. older connector. would have been used on older devices and is nearly obsolete
usb 3.0.
looks like type a, but it is a faster connection. often has blue to identify it.
usb mini
angular design, has a distinctive, two tiny rectangles stacked on each other shape, and used to plug in some older devices.
usb micro
used to be used widely to charge phones and other small devices, but a smoother design than usb mini, with rounded edges.
usb c
the cord is the same on both ends, power to connection. It is the same.
usb micro b
has two conjoined connections at the end that resemble misshapen sunglasses.
