Future plans

A

There is a $2 billion redevelopment plan which aims to give alternate housing to the residents.
However only people who have lived in Dharavi from 2000 will get a new home so not everyone will be rehoused.
The land value of Dharavi is high.
Mickesh Meca is the architect driving the redevelopment. He wants to rid India of its slums by rehousing
