- sore throat
- oropharynx & soft palate are reddened
- tonsils inflamed & swollen
- tonsillar lymph nodes enlarge
Occasionally;
- fever
- conjunctivitis

A
- disease is self limiting
- NO ANTIBIOTICS
- symptomatic treatment
