What is the Anatomic Position?
Standing upright with feet parallel and flat on the floor. Head is level and eyes look forward, arms are on either side of the body with the palms facing forward and the thumbs pointing away from the body.
Identify a Transverse plane
A cross sectional plane of horizontal plane cutting perpendicularly along the long axis of the body or organ separating it into both superior upper and inferior parts.
Identify the Midsagittal Plane
a sagittal plane in the body midline
