A

O: distal 1/2 of L surface of fibula; IM septa
I: tuberosity on base of 5th metatarsal (occasional division to dorsal aponeurosis of 5th toe)
Inn: superficial fibular n. (L5, S1)
A: plantar flexion @ talocrural joint; eversion (pronation) @ subtalar joint

fibularis longus

A

O: head and proximal 2/3 of L surface of fibula (partly from IM septa)
I: plantar side of M cuneiform; base of 1st metatarsal
Inn: superficial fibular n. (L5, S1)
A: plantar flexion @ talocrural joint; eversion (pronation) @ subtalar joint; supports transverse arch of foot
