- also splits coronary ligament into left and right subphrenic space

what are the main features of the pancreas - give any other details
head- follows inner curvature of duodenum- lower part extends to left to form uncinate process (posterior to SMA)
neck - overlies superior mesentric vessels/ hepatic portal vein
body - anterior to splenic vein
