Unit 2: The Nervous System Flashcards
What are the components of the nervous system?
The brain, spinal column and nervous network throughout the body
Functions of the Nervous System: Sensation
receptors throughout the body receive stimuli and route it to the brain
Functions of the Nervous System: Integration

How is the brain protected?

What does the sympathetic nervous system do?
controls most of the bodies internal organs, operates the fight or flight response
