Ethnicity
refers to the idea that one is a member of a particular cultural, national, or racial group. Two people can share the same race but
have different ethnicities.

it is related to a particular social, historical, and geographic context. The way races are classified has changed over time
Cultural identity
often defined as the identity of a group or culture of an individual who is influenced by his or her self-identification with that group or culture
three-stage model for adolescent cultural and ethnic identity development
first stage, unexamined, lack of exploration cultural ethnic identity development,—they are rather taken for granted
second stage is the culture idenity development search, exploration

Encounter:something that provokes thought about the role of cultural, racial, and
ethnic identification in their life. This may be a negative or positive experience minorities most often experience discrimination as their first encounter
Immersion-Emersion: After an encounter that forces a client to confront it. A client may search for information and will also
learn through interaction with others from the same cultural, racial, or ethnic groups.
Internalization and Commitment: has developed a secure sense of identity and is comfortable socializing both within and outside the group he or she identifies with.

is a high blood pressure medication.

the generic version of Lopressor, is used to treat high blood pressure and also helps
reduce the risk of repeated heart attacks. Metoprolol also treats heart failure and heart pain or angina.
