What does it mean when we say God is monotheistic?
It means God is one
What are the Omni-attributes?
Omni-Present (which means everywhere), Omni-Scient (which means all-knowing), Omni-Benevolent (which means all-loving), and Omni-Potent (which means all-powerful)
What is the trinity?
God the father (the source of all life), God the son is Jesus Christ (fully god and fully man, through his death and resurrection saved humanity from sin and healed the relationship between god and humans), and god the Holy Spirit (the source of wisdom,strength,and creativity)
What does it mean when we say God is immanent?
Close to people, this finds its ultimate expression in Jesus
What does transcendent mean and is God transcendent?
God is transcendent, which means he is beyond the physical universe and therefore does not abide by the laws of physics
Does God love his creatures?
Yes, so much so he wants to have a relationship with them
What does it mean when we say God is an interventionist?
It means that God acts in the events of history, and affects the course of the physical world
What is God?
God is:

-the creator and sustainer
Why are beliefs about the nature of God important for Christian’s today?
-God creating us helps Christian’s to feel important and have a meaning and purpose,
-belief in one God helps people to more easily understand the nature of God because there is only one,
-omni-attributes may make us feel loved and protected by God,
-the trinity helps us to relate to God better as we can all relate to the different roles within a family
