-the story of the sheep and the goats might suggest that people will be judged for how well they have loved their neighbours and not for how religious the have been,

-comforting to know that Jesus loved everyone, and told his followers not to judge others,
-God is the judge, and because he is all-knowing and all-good the judgement will be fair,
-some Christians believe that the death and resurrection of Jesus paid the price for all of humanity’s sins,
-heaven is a life after death with no pain or suffering, and this prospect is comforting to Christians

-after death God is the judge and because he is all knowing and all good we can be sure the judgment will be fair,
-on the final day God will be more concerned with how we have lived our lives rather than how religious we have been,
